When my son Noah slid into third base earlier this spring and dislocated his right shoulder, I knew I wanted to do everything I could to help him recover quickly and completely. I am chiropractor who has practiced for 25 years and nothing moves you into action like your own child getting injured.
His shoulder was "reduced" back into place manually and the ER doctor told him he would be out for the rest of the baseball season. With just two and a half weeks left in his senior year at Roanoke College, the discolation would mean a career-ending injury.
